WHAT
Art in the Street is a public event showcasing and celebrating talented local artists who will be creating works of art in the streets of Warragul for three hours on Saturday 19th April. Come and join the fun, connect with other artists, and inspire and interact with the public.
If you would like to participate in this event please read the Artist participtation Agreement and then fill in the Participation Application Form below.
NB. If you are going to participate as a Non-Bbaa Member you will need your own Public Liability Insurance, when filling out the form below you will be asked to upload a copy of this Insurance, so please ensure you have this document ready prior to completing the On-Line form.
Artist Participation Agreement
- The Artist has agreed to be a participating artist in the Art in the Street event run by the Baw Baw Arts Alliance on Saturday 19th April 2025.
- Participating artist must need either their own personal insurance for the event OR be a paid up members of BBAA.
- The Artist agrees to be creating a 2D work in a public space in the Warragul CBD on Saturday 19th April 2025 between the times of 9:30am to 12:30pm.
- The Artist agrees to be positioned in a pre-allotted location set by the project team from BBAA.
- The Artist is allowed to advertise their practice and works at the event. However, ONLY those with personal insurance can sell their work at the event.
- The Artist agrees to comply with all set up and pack down requirements.
- Artists are representing the Art in the Street event and the values of the event. All artists are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner to one another, the organisers, and the public. Should an artist encounter a difficult member of the public they are welcome to raise their concern with a member of the organising team. Should an Artist encounter an issue with a member of the organising team they can escalate the issue with a committee member of BBAA.
