Fred Duncan is a botanist/ecologist, who has worked throughout Australia – since 1977 in Tasmania. He values the bush and is active in conservation campaigns. He has a strong interest in Gondwanic connections of Tasmanian and Patagonian landscapes and flora, and with his wife Mercedes (from Argentina) has travelled regularly to South America.
