curled amongst coastal grasses
a sand dune fairy
arranging wildflowers
a lost city florist
intersection of east and west……
nature our conduit
stories travel between sky and sea
underneath Kilcunda bridge
we touch soft bursting seed pods
like torn away cirrus clouds
and explore the shoreline
laying stark on ancient rock
a weedy sea dragon
spat from roaring ocean
our fingers lightly trace fragile bones
and spiral tail once draped in sea lettuce
we drift in melancholia
between sea and sky
