Tierra del Fuego and the island of Tasmania,
Beautiful sisters of the southern seas,
Separated forever by the infinite ocean,
But joined by the currents of the sea and the sky,
And in the icy nights – the Cross and auroras,
Shine like the fires of the peoples of old,
Who lived by the coasts, in the steppes and the forests.
Do we hear their voices in our desperate lives?
The wind and the waves are the songs of their lands.
