Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the Baw Baw Arts Alliance Committee have decided to cancel the entire season of the Summer Arts Market. This is not a decision taken lightly but in view of the current restrictions and future guidelines regarding outdoor gathering limits, we have no choice but to cancel. Our last step out of Stage 3 restrictions means only public gatherings of up to 50 people will be allowed and contact details must be kept. WAM differs from the Farmers Market. They are considered essential, where we are not.
If, for some reason, the Premier changes the outdoor gathering restrictions to unlimited before the end of November, we will endeavour to hold a one-off December market. We'll keep all the stallholders advised as soon as anything changes.
In the meantime, we would like to keep our Warragul Arts Market Facebook page alive and feel it may be a good platform to showcase all of our regular stallholders. This offer is open to previous stallholders only, they must be current members of Bbaa and they must have a Facebook presence in order to promote the WAM Facebook page and link back to their page. To make that happen, please send one high-resolution picture of your work along with your contact details (name, business name if different, mobile #, email and Facebook link) to Wendy Hitchins at: email@example.com . This could be in the form of a Facebook 'postcard' where you could add several photos in one document. You can use free software from Canva or PixlR to create them.
With 50+ stalls, this will take a considerable amount of time for me to accomplish, so I ask you, please, to be patient. Make sure to like and follow WAM on the Facebook page.
A decision will be made about the Winter Arts Market will be made at the end of the summer. You will be contacted about that in the future.
