Pat, the Dog project

 
 
"Pat, the Dog" is a mosaic community project and public sculpture brought to you by Baw Baw Arts Alliance Inc with support provided
by
Regional Arts Victoria Pat will stand at 2.5m tall and will be installed near the Yarragon Train Station on October 2020.
 
There are five mosaic workshops and 4 substrate workshops scheduled.

The Mosaic workshops are with mocaicist Alene Bonser and have a limit of 8 participants.
The substrate workshops are with sculptor Jessie McLennan and have a limit of 4

All are FREE
 
Join our community arts project "Pat, the Dog". This large dog will be sculpted, formed and mosaicked by you - our community.

  • October 19th 2019 Warragul Arts Market. 9-12pm
  • Saturday November 16th 2019 Trafalgar Art Space. 1-4pm

Sculpting the Substrate - "Pat, the Dog"

  • 26th November 2019 10-2pm Buln Buln- carving the polystyrene dog
  • 3rd December 2019 10-2pm Buln Buln- attaching the Rendalok metal mesh
  • 21st January 2020 10-2pm Buln Buln- applying the first coat of Kerabond render
  • 18th February 2020 10-2pm Buln Buln- applying the second coat of Kerabond render with fiberglass mesh.
